  1. everyone has their own opinion, but if you like it buy it you wont be dissapointed with it i guarantee it

  2. If you're going to be using it for trail work, you should get the normal protective stuff for the bike (decent skid plate like Moose or Devol, E-Line pipe guard, a good set of barkbusters like Enduro Engineering, Cycra, Moose, etc, good radiator guards like the ones from Devol, frame protectors from Works Connection). A lot of this stuff added onto your bike will save you from headaches down the road. As far as the bike itself goes it's very good. Racers still rock on the RM250 and win National GNCC's and Hare Scrambles. The weakest parts from what I understand on the RM are the clutch and front brake disc. The front disc is prone to warping under heavy use, and the clutch plates and basket wear out quickly. But these are racers who damaged those parts so take it for what it's worth. You will be satisfied with the power on this bike, but it won't be as broad as, say a YZ250.

  3. if you have to ask questions like this about a bike. its prob not a good idea to be getting a brand new one. get one thats atleast 5-10 yeats old to learn on and have fun with. they are way cheaper and just ask good. that way you break something no big deal. i raced for 12 years and never owned a brand new bike. the newest one i had was 1 year old. and i got it for like half the cost of a new one. jsut look around for a good deal. craigslist.org is a good place.

  4. i know I wouldn't spend that much on one.....

suzuki isn't the most durable brand out there...
