Rm125 problems wont start great compression has good spark HELP ME?

Question

i have a 1987 rm125 that has good compression good spark good fuel

i keep kicking it over alot it just back fires through the exhaust and shoots flames

i noticed when i bought it they put water in the tank and the cylinder was filled with water i cleaned it out and it still wont start i keeps wanting to start but just pops out the exhaust

im mad and tired of kicking it does anyone know whats wrong

Take the carb apart and clean it good, clean all water and corrosion out of the system! fresh fuel should put you back in business. check your plug also!
