Looking for some clipless pedals for my road bike to pair w/ my Sidi Genius 5 road shoes. I think i want the crank brothers quattro road pedals, because i'm looking to spend under $100. So.....was just wondering if you have any better suggestions, or something else thats better, that i might consider. Thanks!

  1. You will be happy with the CB Quattros.  I run the Quattro SL's on my road bike and have found them to be durable and trouble free.  The Quattro actually provides an excellent platform for your foot.  Mine have about 6k miles on them and no hint of wear or problems.

One nice feature of the Quattros is the two sided entry.  You never have to flip or search for the entry side.

  2. Some other pedals to consider...LOOK Keo Classics http://www.competitivecyclist.com/road-b...

Those on cc are $100 but they can be found as low as $80.  I have over 2,500 mi on them and couldn't be happier.  I would think they help spread the pressure better than the cb quattro pedal, which would mean less foot fatigue on longer rides.  You can't go wrong for a pedal around $100...as the price jumps you're mainly paying for weight savings.
