Road Trip From Penticton BC to Calgary Alberta?

Hello, My boyfriend and I are planning a road trip from Penticton BC to Calgary Alberta and I would like to plan some little things to do on the way, does anyone know of any cool places to stop off and take pictures or have lunch, anything like that on the way? Thanks.

you have two choices of routes both have millions of picture opps.   Hwy#3 is the more picturesque but much longer route. a few small quaint towns on the way.  Osoyoos, Grand Forks,  Hot springs in Radium and once you hit Alberta side try to see "Head smashed in buffalo jump" on way up to Calgary./

If going up #97 to Hwy#1;  (faster and better twinned hwy most of way) the salmon arm area is nice and be sure to visit Banff townsite on your way thru to calgary.
