Road Trip Packing List......?

I am 10 years old and need a packing list. I am going on a road trip to Kansas and Oklahoma (I live in Florida.) We (my mom and 2 sisters) are going to stop for the night in hotels. What should I bring?

What should you bring for entertainment while on the road? or what to pack in your suitcase?

For entertainment pack: cell phone(if you have one you might not seeing as you 10), iPod (or other MP3), books (a few books but only if you like to read), magazines (a few of you favs.), some money (if you stop somewhere like a gas station and want to buy some candy or something or another magazine if you run out. money can really be used for anything),hand sanitizer (i know this isn't really entertainment but you should keep some in you bag w/ the entertainment stuff because the bathrooms you will probably stop at are really gross), portable DVD player (enless you have one built into you car already), some DVDs (lots of them some favorite movies and maybe go to the store and buy some new ones) Thats all that I can think of for entertainment.

Regular packing: all you really need is a swimsuit, clothes for everyday, toothbrush, toothpaste, hair brush, shampoo, any hair care products you might need, and thats pretty much it.

clothing ---shoes shirts pants one dress up clothing bathing suit COMFORTABLE CLOTHING FOR THE ROAD

CAR SCAVENGER HUNT

Hand your kids a pack of index cards and ask them to write or draw pictures of 50 things they might see on a trip. Keep the cards for scavenger hunts when players vie to match what they see with the cards.

RAINDROP RACE

Each player traces the course of a raindrop down the window. The first drop to reach the bottom wins.

BILLBOARD POETRY

Take turns picking out four words from road signs. Give the words to the other players who have 1 minute to turn the words into a four-line, rhyming poem using one word per line.

GUESS MOBILE

Name a guess master -- the person who poses a guessing challenge. He or she could ask passengers to guess the color of the next passing car, or how long before you get to the next town. Or, with three clues, what it is that someone else sees.

If you have a portable computer (labtop) or a portable tv you can use that in your vehicle for only $19!!! This trick is a power inverter. A power inverter allows energy to transvert through your vehicle to power up your systems. You will have have your computer charged all the time in your vehicle.

Entertainment is great to keep you entertained.

Neck Pillow is strongly advised if planning on taking nap in the car to advoid neck injury.

Extra clothes in case of accidents.

Clothes suitable for weather (check with your local forecast to find the weather for each areas planning to visit)
