  1. there's only one size for road bike tubes, usually.

Ask the guy working where you want to buy it.

  2. Inner tubes will have a width range, 700x18-25c or 700x28-37c.  You want your tyre width to lie within this range to stop pinching or over inflation.  26mm width is a bit of an odd one and lies between normal ranges (though not by much admittedly).

Conti do a 700x25-35c which might be the best match for you.

  3. Buy a tube pre-filled with puncture sealant, only a pound or two more and saves loads of hassle.

  4. 700 is the diameter of the tyre on the wheel. 26 is the width of it.

Tubes usually state a range that they can be used it. e.g. 700 - 22-26. A tube stating that could be used in a tyre of 22-26mm.

  5. Both of the previous answers are correct. If after this you still dont know you can always ask the guy who is selling it. And the boxes say what size youre lookin at. 700x26c is the size of the wheel in millimeters, just like the other guy said, and the 26-622 is the rim measurement. 26 is the width and 622 is the diameter of the rim. one last thing- i dont know exactly what theyre called but there are only one certain size tubes for 700x26c tires so if you get any other ones than are meant for that tire they almost definately wont fit
