Road trip Delhi to Goa?

i am planning to do a road trip from delhi (gurgaon) to goa could any body pl. advice which is the best route to take & all the cities in route toll tax etc. where to stay I plan to leave from delhi (gurgaon) at 5am how should i go about it.

I definitely prefer to fly!  

In those roads, should take you several days.  From Delhi to Jaipur was about 6 hours by bus, From Mumbai to Goa is about 10 hours by bus.  That's as far as I know.  Oh, it took about two hours from the bus station until we actually were out of Delhi - too much traffic, even though we left early in the morning.

By the way, it is monsoon season, I just came from there and Goa was awful.  Rained every single day we were there, mosquitos and insects were everywhere.  The paradise it is supposed to be wasn't because of monsoon.  We could not even get in the water because the sea was dangerous.  Shooping was good though because there were barely any tourists so vendors were desperate to sell something.  Another bad thing is that there were power outages that lasted almost a whole day.  

Don't get me wrong, I loved India and can't wait to go back there again, just not monsoon season.
