Road trip across America, with a haunted theme!!

Hi everyone, I really enjoy campfire tales and things that go bump in the night! LOL

I live in Chicago and my boyfriend and i are planning on taking a road trip with a haunted theme to it. In other words, we would like to vist and or stay in places that have a scay past. So my question is, is there a website that can tell u where these places are?

We already plan to visit the stanley hotel in colorado, so i would like to stay west if i could but i an open to ideas, any help would be great!

If you go to San Diego the famous Hotel Del in Coronado is very old and is rumored to be haunted...

A haunted road trip would be incomplete without a visit to Salem, MA.  Also, the Travel Channel has info on there site as well.

Check out the SciFi Channel's website for Ghosthunters or check the TAPS/Ghosthunters website to check out some of the places that they've gone that are open to the public.

I know they've been to the Stanley Hotel, but they've also been to the Myrtle Plantation in Louisiana, the St. Augustine Lighthouse in Florida, the Queen Mary, in San Diego and a few places out west like the OK Corral.  I also know that they stayed at the Cashtown Inn in Gettysburg, PA.  They might give you some good ideas of places you should visit.
