Road trip from London to Lagos,Nigeria?

I am planning to drive my 1994 BMW 530i V8 from London to Lagos, Nigeria. I am a bit eager and i would like any helps, suggestions on anything that might b useful including which countires i wud have to navigate thru, immigration, choice of cars, duraution i mean anything wud be most welcomed. And if u wud like to join me or ur friends, please dont hesitate to let me know. And how can i. if possible, get sponsorship, document the whole events and things like that. Many thnaks

Wow! That would take ages! but sounds very cool.

I would travel through france, and spain to gilbralter and then take a ferry to cross a tiny stretch of the mediterranean into morrocoo. From there at least you'll be on the continent so you'll be able to navigate.
