Road trip vehicle?

I would like personal opinions please.

for a two day road trip (both ways) would you take a;

04 nissan altima or a 98 altima?

98=

-slightly better MPG

-not as big a deal if the windshield gets chipped or anything.

04=

-A tad more comfy

-more attractive to theft and not as good MPG though.

Take what is

(1) more mechanically stable

(2) more comfy

"slightly" better make very little difference in 2 day drive.
