Road trip where to stop on the way?

Me and my friends all 18(guys) 4 of us are going to quebec city and want to know some good places to visit in montreal and ottawa on the way.. we will stay at those places overnight probably

check a map they probaly haave some sites listed on it.

Go the local government website - like the Chamber of Commerce for Quebec (if CA has a Chamber of Commerce); or search Tourism and Quebec.  They usually will show  you a calendar of events, what to see, events, etc.

Ottawa's Gatineau Park is a good stop if you like nature's beauty.  Tons of museums around there to check out as well, or the Canadian Mint.

When I was 18, we did a camping road trip to the east coast and passed through Ottawa.  Saw the Mint, and the Museum of Man and the Canada Science & Technology Museum.  Next day we toured the bars and found this fantastic blues bar in this little basement type place.  Had such a great time, I cant remember how I got there, only that the music was out of this world, and the beer was ice cold.

Only thing I remember of Quebec was trying desperately to get through without having to buy the gas!!  Lovely scenery there tho.  Would have liked to check out Quebec City..  What I saw got my interest.
