  1. Route 66 is a historic roadway...if your planning a road trip, goodle it and check it out.

  2. In the US- US 50, it runs from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean (aka George Washington Hwy)

    US 40- national Hwy

Just about any US hwy, w/the exception of Rte 66, it has been replaced in sections by interstates.

  3. US Route 1 goes from Maine to Florida.  I-95 parallels it these days.  US Route 20 goes from Boston, Massachusetts to Newport, Oregon.  I-90 is the interstate that parallels that one, I think.

  4. The Oregon Trail.

  5. U.S. Route 1 runs from Maine to florida.

  6. The is a road called the Banff-Jasper Highway in Alberta. It was a make work project during and just after WW2. (using mostly interned Japanese labour regretably). But it is one of the the most beautiful drives you can ever take. Take your time and stop and see all the sights. Bring some hiking boots etc.
