  1. You can mash it with softened butter to make garlic bread ... toss it into a jar of Italian dressing

  2. my favorite thing to do with roasted garlic.... Make garlic Bread!  you just  slice up some italian bread  butter both sides of the bread.  squeeze the roasted garlic out onto the buttered bread and stick it into the oven! its wonderful.  goes  well with pasta.

below is a  more detailed  way of making garlic bread.

  3. What you're doing is releasing the aromatic oils of the garlic by heating it. If you left the garlic in the pan and then added the chicken, the garlic would burn and become bitter and burned bitter garlic can ruin a dish.

Basically, you're making a quick version of garlic-infused oil. Save the little slivers and eat them with the chicken.

  4. Hi there, there's plenty to do with the garlic.

I roast garlic all the time. Take a whole Garlic pod, keep it whole, wrap in foil and bake in the center of the oven on 350f for 1 hour. I keep in in the fridge, in the foil. When I need it, I have it to use, like fresh garlic for dressings, mashed potatoes, sauces and even as a rub for meats.

    Enjoy and good luck.

  5. Mash/chop up the garlic and put it in your chicken dish.

  6. The garlic bread is a good idea but I have one more. I mash it and whisk it with EVOO(extra virgin olive oil), add a splash of lemon whisk until creamy and you have a creamy non fat dressing for a salad! Oh add s&p (heehee). I use this for my salads, give it a try.

  7. You can do anything that you do with garlic. Make garlic bread, put it on chicken, fish, in salad, add it to tomato sauce, make pesto or just eat it.  One of my favorites is chopped fresh tomato, garlic & basil. Add salt & pepper to taste.  Warm it up, but don't cook it. Put it over a light weight pasta (ie: Angel Hair).

    Enjoy.
