Roasting bell peppers?

I love roasted red bell peppers but how come no one ever roasts the other colors like orange, yellow or esp green bell peppers?

I do all three. There is no difference what so ever in the bell peppers other than color. Well green ones are MUCH cheaper, but besides that, no difference.

For anyone to say they react differently to one than they do the other, is ludicrisp! They are identical except for the genetic code for the color.

orange and yellow cost more then red and green arent as sweet as the other colors and they give me heartburn!

I roast green bell peppers all the time.  I usually stuff them first, though.  :)  I've been known to stuff and roast orange and yellow bell peppers as well, it's just that the green ones are more common, readily available and often cheaper.
