The Netherlands international believes that he under-performed to a great extent in the last campaign, and feels that he needs to be selfish in order to get back to his top form.
Bayern Munich superstar http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 claims that a more selfish and individualistic approach on the field will make him rediscover his deadly natural ability for the FC Hollywood outfit. Robben was jeered by the Allianz Arena fans
at the end of the last season and has vowed to silence his critics this time around.

to switch back to his old game and take more chances in front of the goal.
"I have to return to the basics. It might sound a bit strange, but I have to become more selfish again," Robben stated.
The forward stressed that he will have to make solo runs and take difficult shots to improve his self-confidence, and he said he saw glimpses of his former game during the off-season.
"I have to make individual actions and gain confidence. Just go for it. I had a few moments during pre-season where I thought 'that's the old Arjen',” he added.
Robben admitted that he was out of form in the last couple of months and was giving too much thought to unnecessary stuff during matches, and ignoring his biggest weapon, unpredictability.
"I was never really fully at ease in the past few months. I was thinking too much about what I was doing rather than using my intuition,” he mused.
"My unpredictability is normally my biggest strength. I obviously make a wrong decision every now and then, but that's part of my game. I never reached top form last year, because I had adapted my game subconsciously," he concluded.
