Footballer of the Year after an exceptional season in which he scored 23 goals in all competitions.
The forward was the captain for Jupp Heynckes’ team in their 4-0 hammering of Kaiserslautern in the German cup second round game. He scored two goals on the day and also assisted team-mate http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Claudio-Pizarro-c9324 for the first goal. The

his normal game plan and did not try anything out of the box.
The mercurial player further added that he enjoyed being the captain, as it gave him additional responsibility. He was honoured to lead such a big club like Die Bayern. Nevertheless, he conceded that all the team members helped
them register a win and said it was not an easy task.
"I didn't do much different to usual, but of course it was nice to be captain. That made me proud. However, we all achieved this win together and it wasn’t easy," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Robben joined Bayern in August 2009 for a fee of €25 million from Real Madrid.
