The Dutchman was booked in the first-half for diving in search of a penalty in the opposition box and has apologised for his actions.

“That was stupid. Perhaps it was a penalty, but then I should have fallen earlier. I saw that I could not get the ball. It was stupid. I must not do things like this – and I apologise,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
The winger also praised Bochum for playing a brilliant game and admired the determination shown by the home side. He added that Bayern were given a really tough time throughout the match and that the visitors were lucky to get
the second goal in the end.
“Bochum can be proud, they played a class game,” the former Los Blancos player concluded.
