on his own as he still has great passion for it.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Netherlands-c753 international stated that he did think about saying farewell to the game during his professional career a few times because of his injury problems. However, he insisted that he will only hang up his boots if his
physical condition does not allow him to play any further.
The Dutch star conceded that he contemplated leaving the game as he got sad and tired of his injuries. He got frustrated as it took him a long time to recover from recurrent problems. Nevertheless, the winger takes pride in playing
football and netting goals for both club and country.
"Retiring crossed my mind it because I was disappointed and frustrated that it's taking this long before I can make my comeback," he commented.

"However, I also said that playing football and scoring goals still gives me a lot of pleasure, and that I have no intention to retire voluntarily,” he mused.
As a result, the playmaker has no reason to quit playing himself. The attacking midfielder suggested that he got disappointed after working so hard to make a quick recovery, but was not able to as his body did not allow him.

"Don't worry, though. I will soon be back on the pitch again. Retiring? Absolutely not!” he finally stated.
Robben claimed he is confident that he will be back on the field in a few weeks time and vowed not to retire just yet. The attacker has played six games for Der FCB this season in all competitions.
