Robbie Kruse enjoying his new German journey with Fortuna Dusseldorf - Bundesliga news
Fortuna Dusseldorf forward http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robbie-Kruse-c31216 seems to be enjoying his new journey in Germany since making his way out of Melbourne Victory during this summer. The player reckons that this Bundesliga experience is going to provide him with a learning curve that
could help him make a comeback in the Australian national side.
Kruse hailed his club manager, Norbert Meier, for providing him with opportunities and was hopeful of cementing his place in the starting line-up some day.
The youngster accepted about the difficulty of getting into the first team squad but was still pleased to be a part of the substitute bench. Kruse mentioned that it will require him some more time to settle in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 before playing a key role in Dusseldorf’s
fortunes. The 22-year-old believed that his side hold a great chance of getting up amongst the big boys and wished to open his account for the club sooner than later.
While talking to a local newspaper, former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Melbourne-Victory-c39899 player enthused, “It’s been tough getting into the starting line-up but I’ve been the first or second sub every match and it’s always difficult to change a winning side, so I am biding my time
a little and trying to impress whenever I get the chance.”
“I’m definitely not complaining. I will wait for my turn and hopefully I will take it when it comes. The aim was always to come here and train harder, improve my fitness, work on my technique and sharpness and just get used to the different demands of the
game in Germany.” He concluded.
Kruse has so far made three appearances for Dusseldorf from the bench but failed to score on either occasion. He made his debut against SC Paderborn, coming on as a 77th minute substitute in place of midfielder Sascha Dum. The youngster hoped
that his stint in Germany will help him earn a recall in the Socceroos squad.
Kruse is once again expected to start from the bench in the club’s next game against 1860 Munchen on Friday, August 19, at ESPRIT Arena.
