Robert Blair and Bin Shen Tan secure Men’s Doubles title at Turkiye International 2012
Scotland’s Robert Blair and Malaysia’s Bin Shen Tan joined forces and got superb result as they claimed Men’s Doubles title at the Turkiye International 2012 on Saturday, December 22, in Turkey.
In the final encounter, the in-form Robert and Bin Shen maintained their domination on court and overpowered Sweden’s Magnus Sahlberg and Mattias Wigardt while taking just 24 minutes.
The impressive Robert and Bin Shen, who were the fourth seeded players in the tournament, displayed their remarkable skills in the arena and they toppled their Swedish challengers in straight games with a completely smashing margin on the score board.
Meanwhile, the un-seeded Magnus and Mattias failed to maintain their impressive performance in the final match and they eventually bowed down to their higher ranked opponents without even getting close.
Robert and Bin Shen played with excellent control in their shots and managed to take over the affairs from initial points of the first set.
The tempo of the rallies was quite fast in first set as Robert and Bin Shen played with impressive speed and maintained their upper hand.
Robert and Bin Shen proceeded with a stunning speed in the first half and stayed in lead on the board until the interval.

The impressive Robert and Bin Shen emerged as the winners in this final battle at Turkiye International with a completely controlled score of 21-11 and 21-15.
