He insisted that his main focus is to continue scoring goals for the side and lead the club to the Bundesliga title again this season. “I am here at BVB and am concentrating fully on our tasks. We still have a long second round in front of us, and then comes the European Championship. I am playing for Dortmund and that is my focus,” he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Borussia Dortmund Chairman Hans-Joachim Watzke also brushed aside these rumours and claimed that the striker is going nowhere. He insisted that the Polish international has proved that he is an integral part of the side and his departure is certainly not on the cards.
