Cees van Nieuwenhuizen reveals that
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-Carlos-c31317 and Samuel Eto’o requested Russian billionaire, Suleyman Kerimov, to sign the former Chelsea FC manager.
Guus Hiddink has joined the mega-rich Russian club, Anzhi Makhachkala, on a reported two-year contract.
Suleyman Kerimov, the Dagestani club president, besides appointing Hiddink as the club’s manager, has also provided Hiddink with the additional role of vice president at Makhachkala stadium.
Though neither party has confirmed the fee involved, the FA Cup winner will reportedly earn 10 million Euros per year at the Dagestani club. Hiddink will now replace Yuri Krasnozhan, who had earlier resigned from the managerial
position.
Krasnozhan, who joined the ambitious Russian side barely a month ago, resigned from his position following a dispute with Roberto Carlos and Samuel Eto’o over coaching methodology.
Although the Dagestani club have confirmed that they parted company with the former Lokomotiv Moscow boss by mutual consent, Cees van Nieuwenhuizen has confirmed that Carlos and Eto’o forced the club’s president to pull the trigger.
“Carlos had earlier worked with Hiddink before during his time at Los Blancos. Roberto nearly begged him to join him at the Russian club. Carlos along with Eto’o went to the club president and told him that the Krasnozhan is an
old-fashioned coach. I think Kerimov agreed with them and forced Krasnozhan to resign.” Nieuwenhuizen was quoted as saying.
Nieuwenhuizen revealed that his client had chosen Anzhi above the other options available because he has always loved to take on challenges. The 65-year-old had already tried his luck in La Liga, English Premier League, Super Lig
and Eredivisie previously.
However, Nieuwenhuizen went on to deny his client’s possible return to the West London club, revealing that he would not like to comment on the topic.
“I would not like to comment on his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/China-c8926, Qatar and Mexico.” Nieuwenhuizen said.
Nieuwenhuizen went on to admit that Hiddink is a professional coach, revealing that he will not have any problem with the star players at his disposal.
