Chelsea’s interim manager, Roberto Di Matteo hopes the dramatic win for the Blues over Napoli will help turn the team’s fortune around, as they look to end the season on a high.

The Blues went into their second leg with Napoli, after suffering a humiliating three goals to one defeat in the first leg of their tie.
Everyone assumed that the Premier League side would fall out once again, but things didn’t play out that way. Chelsea attacked their Italian opponents from the very first minute of the game and went on to beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 by four goals to one.
As a result of that win, Napoli were knocked out of the Champions League, while Chelsea progressed to the next round of the competition.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo, who is Chelsea’s interim manager, following the sacking of Andre Villas-Boas, believes that the win shows just what the team is capable of and has insisted that this result is bound to help the team perform even better over the remainder
of the season.
Di Matteo is quoted to have said: “It was a fantastic effort and a fantastic game as well, to watch 2 great teams on the pitch.”

“I think we made history tonight because we were in such a difficult position before the game.”

"We knew it would take a lot to go through and the performance of the whole team was outstanding.”
With the senior players at the club playing brilliantly, everyone asked Di Matteo just what he thought about their performance. In response to those questions, he responded by stating that it was not only the senior players who played well, but in fact the
whole team that helped contribute to the victory.
“It was not just the senior players it was the collective performance of the team," he added.

"But the senior players put experience on pitch because they are used to playing this type of game.”
Should http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 continue to play in the same manner over the remainder of the season, the team could easily go on and secure a Champions League spot for the coming season, while going much further than anyone expected in the European contest.
