Roberto Mancini believes that his Manchester City don’t have the same mental strength that Arsenal had, when they went unbeaten for the whole 2003-2004 season.
The Manchester City manager has now seen his side pick up two defeats in the league this season and it seems like these losses have forced him to reconsider his options. Mancini was looking to create one of the greatest Premier League sides of all time,
but his efforts failed, as both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Sunderland went on to beat his side.
Nonetheless, despite this fact, the manager still has a team that is more than capable of beating just about anyone, should they be in the right mind set.
When comparing his side to the Gunners, the manager is quoted to have said: “One month ago, all the journalists were saying we could go the season unbeaten, like Arsenal, but I knew then that we would not”

“We are not Arsenal, we are not strong up here like that team.

“We have done well this season, but we could do more.

“Even the best teams, there are times during the year when you cannot win, and you don't know why. Maybe you are unlucky, you make chances and you cannot score.”
The manager then went on to hail Manchester United and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and he believes that the success that those sides have cannot be bought overnight and it takes a long time to do what they have done.
Mancini then went on to add: “It takes 20 years to create strength like that and it will take many more years of work here to get to where United are now.”
Despite City not being on the same level as the Gunners of 2003, it is not hard to see the progress he team has made under their new manager. City are now on top of the Premier League table and look set to go on and be crowned as the best team in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749
at the end of the season.
However, the Italian tactician is more than likely to tinker with a squad a little more, before he is finally satisfied with the way things are turning out.
All in all, it is now safe to admit that City are going to be a regular feature in the top four, for many years to come.
