Roberto Mancini believes Manchester City can hunt the Red Devils down without Carlos Tevez - FA Cup update
Manchester City’s manager, Roberto Mancini, has revealed that the Citizens could come out as proud winners against Manchester United in the semi-finals of the FA Cup in-spite of the injury to their ace striker, Carlos Tevez. The Italian has urged his team
not to sweat over the Argentine’s injury and maintain their focus upon the upcoming tie against the Red Devils.
The 27-year-old got injured and was taken off in the early minutes of the first half in City’s 3-0 loss to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809, a Premier League game played on Monday, 11 April at Anfield. The striker has 19 goals under his belt so far in the League but now has been
ruled out for up to four weeks due to a torn hamstring.

United all the way through to the whole 90 minutes.
Former Inter Milan manager ruled out what many critics say that Manchester City is a one-man team. He further mentioned that, “We know that Carlos is very important for us, but we can win this game without him. It’s a big motivation to win. We don’t think
that just because Carlos doesn’t play, we can’t win. Anything can happen in one game against United. Who would have thought that Birmingham could beat Arsenal [in the League Cup final]?”
The 46-year-old though, was extremely disappointed at the loss of Argentinean due to an injury but hoped that Tevez would be back for City during the ongoing campaign. There are fears surrounding the Eastlands that Tevez might be departing from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 possibly
in favour of either, Real Madrid, Juventus or http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan.
Mancini concluded by saying that, “All the players are behind me. It would be stupid [for them not to be] because, like me, the players have a good chance — it’s important for them because it could be their first trophy.”
Manchester City are currently 4th in the League table with 56 points and will lock heads with the Red Devils on Saturday, 16 April at Wembley in FA Cup semi-final.
