http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 can still improve following match against Arsenal
Manchester City manager, Roberto Mancini has gone on to claim that Samir Nasri can still improve as a player, despite the midfielder putting in a very average performance against Arsenal in the Carling Cup.
Mancini believes that Nasri can develop into a City player, just like the duo of Edin Dzeko and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601, who took their time to develop into world class performers for Manchester City.
Following his move, Dzeko had a very poor goal scoring run, but can now score goals for fun, whenever he feels like it. At the same time, Silva was being considered as a flop, when he moved to City, but is now being considered to be amongst the best players
in the world, due to the performances that he has been putting in, over the course of the last few weeks.
As a result, Mancini believes Nasri can become one of the best in the world, if he is given the right amount of time to adjust at the club.
When talking about the French international and the prospect of him becoming a world class performer, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 is quoted to have said: "He can play better because he is a top player.
"I think that he can improve a lot but it was the same situation with players who arrived last year like Edin and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409.”
"It [the win] is not important for him, it is important for the team. For him it is better that he played tonight so when he comes back to play here in the league he knows what will happen."
During the game against Arsenal, City were on the back foot for the most part, but went on to break in the last ten minutes and score the solitary goal of the game. Aguero was the player who scored the goal for the team, as he helped ensure his sides progress
to the semi finals of the tournament.
However, despite the display from Arsenal, Mancini seems to feel his side was the better team on the night, as he is refusing to acknowledge the performance from Arsenal.
The Manchester City manager, then went on to continue and add: "It was a great goal, a great counterattack. I don't think that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 had a lot of chances, I think we played well."
Irrelevant to how the two teams played, what can be said assuredly, is that Arsenal are now on their way to the semi finals of the tournament, while Arsenal have one less competition to worry about.
