Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has gone on to admit that he will not be letting any of his surplus players leave for cheap, this transfer window.
City are currently overflowing with extra players, who seem to be surplus to requirements at the club. However, despite the team having no use for them, they seem to be highly reluctant on letting them leave the club.
The likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roque-Santa-Cruz-c31778 are all being pursued by teams, but those teams just aren’t willing to pay top dollar for these players, being well aware of the fact that they are not
required by their parent club.
At the same time, there were a number of rumours floating about, that City might be willing to let these players leave for free, but as it stands, these rumours are nothing more than made up tabloid lies.
When talking about the sale of these players, Mancini made it quite clear that the teams would have to pay full price and nothing less.
“All these players have a cost, they are good players”
“If a team wants them they will have to pay the price, like us when we sign players.”
At the moment, the likes of Adebayor and Wright-Phillips are nearing making loan moves away from the club. With neither team willing to pay full price for the duo, it seems like they are now settling for the next best thing and making loan moves for the
players.
On the other hand, one City player who seems more than likely to stick around the club for much longer, is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Carlos-c8346 Tevez.
The Argentine forward had been made the subject of a massive transfer saga, but with no more clubs showing any interest in the player, it seems like he might just have to stick around at City for a little longer.
Mancini, when talking about Tevez and his future at the club is quoted to have said:  “At the moment, we have not received an offer for him at his value.
“He is still here. He is an important player, a top player for us. At the moment the captain is Vincent. After, we will see.”
With nearly a week left in the transfer window, Tevez is going to have to push through for a move, if he wishes to play elsewhere. Should the player fail to do so, then it wouldn’t be surprising to see him end the season in a City jersey after all.
