Roberto Mancini hails Manchester City defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Micah-Richards-c25259 – Premier League Update
Manchester City manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international and City defender, Micah Richards.
The manager has gone ahead and expressed his faith in the defender and believes that he is now destined for greatness, given the way he has been performing so far in his career.
The defender went on to make a name for himself as a permanent member of the City squad, ever since he was an eighteen year old youngster.
Over the course of the last two years, he has gone on to build on the reputation that he established at the club and has proved his worth with consistent performances, week in and week out. In fact, the way the player has been playing, many now consider
the player to be one of the best full backs in all of Europe.
The defender has now managed to play a very impressive two hundred games for the team and Mancini has hailed the defender for this brilliant milestone that he has gone on to achieve. It is not easy to play at City for as long as the player has, but the fact
that he has managed to establish himself in the squad, despite the team spending money on some of the best players in the world, it just goes to show how much the team really value the defender.
Manchester City’s manager, Roberto Mancini, when talking about the player is quoted to have said: “Playing so many games is a fantastic thing for Micah and I hope he can play another 200 games for City”

“He can do that because he is young but he can also improve in the next month, the next year.

“He has improved since I came here but like Adam [Johnson] he can improve a lot, if he believes it.”
Despite having performed as well as he has in his short career at the club, Richards still has a very long way to go, before he can claim to be one of the best full backs to emerge out of England. However, the way he has been playing so far, it might not
be a long wait for that to happen.
