Manchester City manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Mancini believes a lot of poor decisions were made by the referee in their game against Liverpool and those decisions ultimately cost City the game.
Liverpool went on to make it to the finals of the tournament, after they managed to draw their second leg with City. Going into the game with a one goal advantage from the first leg, a two all draw saw the Reds make it through to the next round.
However, Mancini is not too convinced about Liverpool being awarded a penalty, from which they scored their opening goal of the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Agger-c9884 took a ball from distance and the ball bounced off Micah Richards’s leg and hit his arm. At the same time he feels that City were denied a penalty earlier in the game, when Edin Dzeko was taken out in the box.
When talking about how he felt the game played out, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 is reported to have said: "We gave a good performance and scored two goals"
"I don't think it was a penalty for Liverpool and we should have had a penalty [for the challenge] on Dzeko, and that changed the game. [Richards] took the ball on his leg.

"I accept that football is football. There are more important things in life. It's important that we give everything in this game, but now it's finished."
The manager also feels that the lack of appeals from the rest of the City squad over the foul on Dzeko in the box contributed to the referee not considering awarding a penalty in City’s favour.
"There is a referee on the pitch, and that should be enough," he said. "It was a clear penalty, an incredible penalty. It was not a penalty against us, and afterwards we did well, and scored.”
Mancini also feels that there is no point in contesting the referee’s decisions after the game, since City don’t have the best track record of appealing to the FA.
Nonetheless, City managed to produce a brilliant performance in the game and had some key decisions been made in their favour, they could have easily ended up beating http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and making it to the finals.
