Manchester City manager, Roberto Mancini, has re-affirmed his interest in A.S Roma midfielder, Daniele De Rossi.

Talking to the reporters Mancini said, “Daniele De Rossi would be absolutely perfect for this team and I rate him as one of the best midfielders in the world. I need something else in midfield because we have limited options.”
"I have Barry, De Jong, Milner and Toure - but if you consider the number of games in the league, the Champions League and the FA Cup that is not enough.”
The Italian side are reluctant to sell their prized asset and new club manager, Luis Enrique, has stated several times that he will give his everything to make sure that the midfielder remains in Rome.
