The Italian manager has confirmed that his team must avoid further slip ups as Manchester United are now in a better position to win the Premier League crown courtesy of Manchester City’s lack of results...
Manchester City’s manager has confirmed that his team should not have drawn against Sunderland on Saturday as they are now three points behind Manchester United in the title race and the Red Devils have a game in hand over the
Citizens. United play their game in hand on Monday night at Ewood Park against Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s men gain a five point advantage over Manchester City.
City were at the top of the table only a few weeks ago but their results since then have been anything but championships material. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323’s men lost to Swansea City drew against Stoke City and then drew against Sunderland as well
to hand United the advantage. City now take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 in their next league match, a loss will surely mean the end of the title race.
Mancini said in his recent interview, "If we go eight points behind then it is finished. It's clear we are disappointed. We have made some mistakes, me and the team. We have also been unlucky, like losing three or four key players
at an important moment. But when you are a strong team you should be able to pass these difficult moments.”
He added, "Yet football can change in two or three games. I had an experience in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan when we were five points behind with five games to go yet we still went on to win the title." United and City have to play
each other one more time before the end of the season on the 30th of April, at the Etihad stadium. City will hope that they are still in the title race by that time but judging from their current form that hope might die out sooner rather than later.
