Roberto Mancini has come out and said that Carlos Tevez can still have a future at Manchester City if he apologises to him and the squad. The Italian tactician has been quite vocal in his criticism of the former West Ham United
player in recent weeks as speculation surrounding Carlos Tevez’s future at the City of Manchester stadium has picked up pace.
Carlos Tevez has been left out of Manchester City’s squad ever since he refused to warm up and take the field for Manchester City in their away trip to Allianz Arena to play Bayern Munich in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. The Citizens lost the match
in question by two goals to nil eventually as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 later shed light on the issue during his post match press conference and there has been an inquiry into
Tevez’s behaviour.
A fine has already been imposed on the striker but it seems that Tevez is now adamant to leave the Manchester club. Tevez moved to Manchester City in the summer of 2009 after Manchester United failed to meet his agent’s demands
of an overtly expensive transfer fee. Carlos led Manchester City to a third place finish last season as their club captain but this season, he has been stripped of the captaincy as City have left him out of their starting line up more often than not due to
his fitness as well as behavioural issues.
The Argentinean striker had almost left Manchester City in the summer transfer window of 2010 but City’s deal with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Corinthians-c38855 broke down and Tevez was left in Manchester. Mancini recently came out and said, “Everything depends
on Carlos. If he apologises to the squad and to me then everything will be as before. If he doesn't then Tevez has a value that everyone knows and something will happen in January. He is totally unprepared and being badly advised. I don't want it to be like
this and I would be the first to forgive him."
