Manchester City manager Roberto http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has gone ahead and warned his team of the threat that their upcoming Champions league opponents.
City are set to take on Napoli in the Champions League and the clash between the two sides would potentially end up determining which side ends up claiming the second spot in Group A.
With City already having drawn with Napoli in the first encounter between the two sides, they will be looking to pick up all three points this time around. Not only do City have more experience of playing in Europe now, but they have a lot of confidence working in their favour, after they went on to end Newcastle’s United’s winning streak this past weekend, while maintaining theirs.
Mancini, when talking about the game is quoted to have said: "The feeling is good [in the City camp] for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003. The team has improved a lot in the Champions League. But I know what we will find in Naples, they are playing very well at home"
However, the manager then went on to admit that his side will have to play a whole lot better than they did against Newcastle, if they are to secure a win against the Italian side.
Despite beating the Magpies by three goals to one, City constantly looked like they were under threat and ultimately won their game, due to their opponent’s inability to finish in front of the goal.
"If we want to win there, then we will have to play better than this afternoon [against Newcastle],” said Mancini.
However, it seems like Napoli haven’t been taking a moment’s break prior to their game against City. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 during the international break and he went on to tell the striker to be prepared for their upcoming game.
Maggio is quoted to have said: "I told him that they’d all better feel brave when they come to Naples."
The way things are shaping up, it seems like the two teams are now rearing to take off against each other. However, given the brilliant form that City have in the Premier League, it is easy to assume them being the favourites to come out on top, during the game.
Nonetheless, with the home-side advantage working in Napoli’s favour, the Italian side could potentially bring an end to the party that City have been enjoying over the course of the last few weeks.
