Question:

Robertshaw thermostat model 9520.does anyon know how to hook the wires up.I have looked everywhere and called?

the robertshaw company to get directions on how to install it and even with there directions its not working.We had it working one time before.If any tips please let me know :)

  2. It sounds like you may have the wires hooked up wrong on the other end but give more detail like what are you connecting to what on both ends. It should be a standard color coded hook up like phones

  3. Place your Red wire on R / Place the Green wire on G  / Place the W wire on White and the Y wire on Yellow.

    If you put the Red and Whte together the furnace should heat, but be careful, because your bypassing the thermostat. If still not heat then also check to see if your getting 24volts to the thermostat. If your not, that is why it failed.  Change the transformer.  You can usually get information like this at www.appliancepartssuppliers.com.  Click on "Order A Part Here" and you can go the the information and diagnosis page from that point.  Good luck !
