Robin Dutt confirms Michael Ballack’s participation against Chelsea - UCL News
Bayer Leverkusen manager, Robin Dutt, has confirmed of midfielder Michael Ballack’s participation in the Champions League game against Chelsea. The midfielder complained of a slight niggle over the weekend, casting doubts over his participation against his
former club.
Leverkusen will play hosts to the English Premier League side on Wednesday, November 23, at BayArena. Robin Dutt’s men would want want to win in order to strengthen their qualification hopes. 
A loss, though, would leave them with some food for thought ahead of their last group game against Genk in December.

Ballack suffered a slight injury while playing over the weekend against Kaiserslautern, casting doubts over his selection on Wednesday. However, the midfielder recently returned to training and has been passed fit for selection.
It will be Ballack’s 100th European appearance and the stage couldn’t have been set better against one of his former clubs.
While talking to reporters on Ballack’s inclusion, the tactician further mentioned:
"The way he's played in the last few matches and months, he's incredibly important. There's no question about that. In our team, there is hardly anyone who has played in the Champions League. For most players, it's new territory. It's good to have an experienced
player in form. He's not affected by the mask - he doesn't wear it in training, so we'll decide tomorrow whether or not he'll wear it."
Dutt, on the other hand, reckoned that Chelsea are currently low on confidence and his team could topple the Blues and go top of the group. 
He expressed confidence in his side’s attacking instincts and considered them favourites ahead of the crucial tie. The manager told that his team are fresh from a 2-0 win over the weekend and banking on their current form, the Werkself could better Chelsea
and take their revenge from the first leg.
