The Bayer Leverkusen boss is impressed with his side's performances off-late and wants to end the first-half of the season on a high.
Dutt expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the team against Hannover and admitted it was a fair result for both the side as no team deserved to lose. The coach added that AWD-Arena is always a difficult place to play
and a point means that his side have performed well.
Werkself and Die Roten shared the spoils at the AWD-Arena on Saturday to take a point each from the game. Both teams created chances throughout the course of 90 minutes but failed to capitalise on their respective opportunities.
Leverkusen are currently sitting in sixth place with 26 points from the 16 games played. It is an impressive feat considering the runners-up from last season had a slow start to the current campaign. He targeted a win in the last
match of the year against FC Nuremberg at home and aims to go into the winter break with three points.
"We played against a team that is very strong at home, and they were good against us too. If we win our next game we'll be on 29 points, which is ok after the difficult start we had," he was quoted as saying in an interview.
Meanwhile, Hannover boss Mirko Slomka was disappointed with the draw and insisted that his team could easily have won it. The tactician rued missed chances in the game and admitted that there were a few chances which should have
been converted. However, he remained hopeful that the players would draw positives from the clash and put in an improved performance next week.
"We played very well and could easily have won it, but we just didn't have that extra bit of luck today. Our football was good, but we weren't clinical enough up front," Slomka concluded.
Bayer Leverkusen will take on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/1-FC-Nuremberg-c38162 at home whereas Hannover face a tough away clash against FC Kaiserslautern next week. Leverkusen are eight points adrift of leaders Bayern Munich and will be looking for their eighth win
of the season at the BayArena this weekend.
