Robin Jackman to undergo treatment for cancer – Cricket News Update

according to Jackman’s prime employer, South African broadcaster Supersport.
“Celebrated SuperSport commentator http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Robin-David-Jackman-c86305, 67, is to undergo seven weeks of daily radiotherapy following two operations to remove malignant tumours from his vocal cord,” read a statement by
Supersport.
“This treatment will be followed by four weeks’ rest as his voice recovers and he expects to be back on the air in the New Year.”
Jackman himself expressed confidence over his recovery prospects, pointing out that the disease had been diagnosed early.
“It's not the prettiest, but I got it early and I'm confident I'll be fine,” he said.

scoring 5681 runs and claiming 1402 scalps.
