Question:

Robin Soderling vs. Roger Federer?

Robin Söderling is serving well against Roger as he should at 6'3". Last year Söderling made it to the round of 32 at Wimbledon, where he lost to Rafael Nadal in a five-set epic. He caused much controversy on the court when he exchanged mocking behaviour with Nadal, tugging on his shorts in the manner Nadal is known for.Obviously Robin has too much respect for Roger to try that c**p against him and despite playing well against Roger, Roger had the match from the first point. And to win in straight sets over Söderling would mean what?

Roger is that much better than Söderling,

or Roger is that much better than Rafa

or Roger is that much better than both?

Well since it is only 2 sets to love for Fed with Robin up 3-2 in the third anything can happen so let's get back to the live match.

  1. Dam....didnt want him to lose serve, but say what, straight sets regardless. I remember Soderling making comments after Roger beat him this year, how he almost had it. Well he almost had it in this match too.

Well, regarding Nadal and Soderling of last yr, assuming they are both are at least at the same level of play, then Roger would be better than them both. But one would think Nadal has improved more than Soderling has.

  2. oh 4-2 now soderling for comeback of the century! lol not.
