http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 striker and captain, Robin Van Persie believes that Mikel Arteta is a very crucial and important part of the Arsenal set-up.
The midfielder went on to join the Gunners from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 in the summers and since then, he has gone on to become one of the most frequently used players in the team. In fact, it is quite hard to think of a game where the midfielder hasn’t featured for the
team, following his move to the team.
Van Persie, who has been in the goal scoring form of his life, has gone on to admit that the movement that Arteta produces in the team’s midfield and the way he uses his experience to get the team to produce some tantalizing plays. In fact, Van Persie believes
that he would have not scored as many goals this season, had it not been to the contributions that Arteta was putting in the midfield.
The striker talked about the difference in the movement the team was showing and how it was a sign of the building confidence in the side.
"What I really like at the moment is that you can see people stepping up a level and growing in confidence"
"I can really notice that around the team.”
He then went on to highlight the importance of Arteta and Song, while admitting the Spaniards ability to read the game has been a blessing in disguise for the Gunners this term.
"For example, Mikel Arteta is playing really well. He's so intelligent. He knows when to go forward, he knows when to sit back.”

"Sometimes http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-Song-c4804 makes a run forward, and because of his experience, Mikel can read the game perfectly, knows when to go forward, when to help his team out, or when to play others.”
He then ended by admitting the player had grown into his role and that it was only a matter of time before he really started to turn heads with his performances on the pitch.
"Everyone can see he has grown into his role, and you can tell he has played many games in the Premier League."
Arteta has gone on to win the Gunners fans over, only a couple of months into his career as an Arsenal player. He has gone on to fill in the void that was left in the Gunners midfield and seems to be growing as a player as the days go by.
At the same time, the fact that he doesn’t go away on international duty, means that he can spend more time representing Arsenal.
