Robin Van Persie delighted to have scored 100 goals for Arsenal – Premier League Update
Arsenal captain and Dutch international, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robin-van-Persie-c31380 is more than delighted to have scored a hundred goals for Arsenal.
The forward scored two out of the three goals that Arsenal scored against Bolton Wanderers this past weekend and since then, he has been on cloud nine.
During the game, the forward scored his ninety ninth and his hundredth game for the team and helped them pick up three points, that helped them catapult out of the bottom of the Premier League table.
When talking about his achievement, the striker is quoted to have said: "I'm very proud. I'm only the 17th player in the history of Arsenal players to pass 100 goals. It is a big achievement."

The striker added: "The fans were amazing again. It has been hard for them and us but we can move forward now.

"You could see everyone smiling after, saying 'this is what we want'."
The striker was signed by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Feyenoord-c39258, after his relationship at the club died. He moved to the Emirates as a winger, but Arsene Wenger saw so much more in the young player.
The Arsenal manager turned the forward into a striker and since then, Van Persie has not looked back.
When talking about the Dutch international, Van Persie is quoted to have said: "To score 100 goals at the top level is very, very difficult. In 2011 Robin has scored 26 goals in 31 games. That's absolutely magic."
At the moment Arsenal could really use all the goals that Van Persie has stored up in him. The team aren’t performing as good as they normally do, but with their star striker and captain still in top form, the team is looking to come out of their slump as
soon as possible.
Arsenal will now be looking to maintain their winning ways, as they are going to be facing off against Tottenham Hotspur this coming weekend. A win against their arch rivals would not only give the team three curial points, but it would also help them jump
the Spurs in the league standings.
