doesn’t want this win to go to the Gunners head, as he hopes for the team to improve ever more from here on.
The player, having admitted that this current week had been a rather hard one for the team, went on to appreciate the fighting spirit shown but the team and is quoted to have said: “Of course it’s been a hard week, with Cesc [Fabregas] leaving, Samir [Nasri]
leaving. We’ve been in the papers for the wrong reasons.”
“But I think we played well at Udinese under immense pressure, so that’s a positive sign. And now it’s up to us to show that every three or four days, because that’s football.”
He then went on to highlight the fact that the Gunners were going to have to bring their ‘A’ game every single time they took to the field, since nothing less than that would do.
“It’s not that we can live on this night for the rest of the month or the rest the year. We have to do it every single time.
The striker also feels like the Gunners surprised a number of people with their performance and hopes to see more of the same in the near future.
“I think that we surprised a few people. Hopefully, we can do it more often.”
