Robinho's decision, good or bad (for him)?

Attempt to put your bias to one side for a minute before you answer the question.

IMO it was a good choice, because he's around other Brazilians, and also he will get gauranteed playing time and not have to compete with another 6-7 midfielders (although I guess they may have used him as a striker). Anyway I think Man City could easily become a second Chelsea in years to come, as Arabs never like to do things by halves. I think in January they'll make loads of new signings and anything will be possible. The only negative is that he won't play in the CL this year.

Just my opinion... what's yours?

  1. Take away his inital enthusiasm in Man City and Robinho will be left with disappointment when he realises nothing really has changed at City.

    Alan Shearer syndrome ?

  2. If he had gone to Chelsea (which was widely predicted) we would all have been on here saying "same old Chelsea", "buying success"" etc etc. Now he has gone to Man City everyone presumes he is just in it for the money, so he really can't win. I think the bigger point is we now have another multi-billionaire owner of a premiership club, the kind of owner who (if reports are anything to go by) was trying to buy Berbatov, Villa and Ramos as well as Robinho which by my calculations is over 100 million. Move over Roman the Sheiks are coming!

  3. i think its the signing of the season, but i still don't think that jo and robinho are going to make man city genuine title contenders, i don't know how they did it but taking 6 points of MANCHESTER UNITED the eventual champions of england and europe was some feat, they are obviously not a mickey mouse side but consistency is the name of the game. personally i think he may live to regret going to a side that may take 2 or 3 seasons to be taken seriously.(and even then thats not guaranteed)

  4. actually i believe it wasnt robinhos choice to go to city. i mean c'mon. why would he say : ''my heads already at chelsea '' yesterday, only to go to man city.  somethings not right. i think that imfuriated the real madrid bosses, at the thought of chelsea becoming more successful than real madrid.

  5. Good for his pocket and for City's PR machine.

  6. Good because he can help to strength the club and support Jo.

  7. money wise he will be financially secure for life and the rest of his village back home.

He will do well at City and when the transfer window opens back up in January they will buy even more players of his calibre

  8. Looking at the fact that they wanted to sign Ronaldinho, this shows how ambitious the club is and where they want to be.

To compete for the premiership this is what you need as you can see Chelsea is now one of the team any club around the world fears.

Robinho's decision has absolutely nothing to do with money but all he wanted was to get out of Madrid and luckily he was wanted by a club rich club "Chelsea" and now finally has signed for Man City which is also very hot financially now a days.
