Robinho completes AC Milan deal
Two years to the day that Robinho became English football’s most expensive signing when he moved from Real Madrid to Manchester City, the Brazilian has moved to AC Milan on a permanent deal.
The 26-year-old has signed a four-year contract with the Italian giants, bringing an unsuccessful stint in England to a close.
A transfer away from City had looked inevitable after the Brazilian returned home to former club Santos on loan last season, and after being linked with moves to Turkish sides Beşiktaş and Fenerbahce, he will now link up with Brazil international team-mates Ronaldinho and Alexandre Pato at the San Siro.
Robinho played 53 times for City, scoring 16 goals.
