He was actively pursued by his former club, Santos, however, the striker decided that time had not
come for him to bid farewell to his time at the San Siro outfit.
The Rossoneri have lost key players throughout this summer transfer window, and the club has not signed the requisite number of players to fill the void of the players who have left. In total there have been 12 departures from the club with the likes of

Milan needed leadership from within the team after parting ways with a host of their experienced players. After confirming that they would not be extending the contracts of many of their legends, Milan went ahead and sold http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029
to Paris Saint-Germain. In the midst of all this turmoil, the fans have erupted and demanded answers from the board.
The Diavolo management would be happy with Robinho’s decision to stay at the club, and the Brazilian is determined to make his mark at the club, and he went on to state:
“My former club http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532 have done much to bring me back to Brazil. However it is not time to return to Santos. I have a lot to give here in Milan. I scored 14 league goals in my first season here, then the year after only six; I'm ready to go back to double
digits now.”
When quizzed how much the club would be affected by this season’s departures, Robinho stated:
“The team will be different, but no less strong. This is a great club and we will be competitive. There is still a long time left in the transfer market. This team is fresh from finishing first and then second in Serie A, and we will be strong.”
The San Siro outfit is keen to sign Kaka from Real Madrid to allay the fan’s backlash.
