Massimiliano Allegri, the former head coach of Cagliari, has gone on to remark on the performances of his team and stated on the reports linking Robinho away to Santos
AC Milan have come under increasing amounts of criticism for the transfer policy (or rather the lack of it) they had during this year’s edition of the summer transfer window. They let go of more than 13 players within their ranks, players which included
the likes of legendary players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Filippo-Inzaghi-c13777. These have been players who have always been associated with the shirt of the San Siro outfit; and stating farewell to such players and eventually
letting them go, was not the wisest choice.
Despite the fact that their departures were touted to have come about due to the fact they were unable to afford their wages and they had to lower the wage bill at the San Siro outfit; their departures were sudden and did not leave much room for the team
to find adequate replacements. Asides from losing their most experienced players, the Rossoneri outfit also bid farewell to the best players of the team, and this included the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903;
their best defender and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302, one of their most creative players.
There are reports that Robinho is unhappy at the club and has remarked his keenness on heading back to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858, after a few below par seasons at the club. He is still below the pecking order of attacking choices at the club, with Alexandro Pato, Stephan El
Shaarawy and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giampaolo-Pazzini-c14802 all ahead of him.
However, Allegri feels that Robinho would be staying at the club till after January, and stated:
“He is proving decisive again this season with assists and goals. He always puts in strong performances. We’ll see what happens in January, but I hope and believe that we won’t lose http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Robinho-c31382. He’ll show what a great professional he is.”
Reports have suggested that Milan are holding on to an offer in the region of 10 million Euros, a figure which http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santos-c32532 has not agreed to, not as yet anyway.a
