Robins eggs:HELP!?

Question

My uncle found a nest of 4 baby robins eggs.I took them home,and they're in they're nest now.I felt them...they're cold.I really want them to live,and keep them warm.Can someone help me?I prsy that the poor things will live,I really feel for them and I dont want them to die...

I don't really understand what you mean. You said you took them home, but they are in their nest now. Does that mean you took them back to the nest, or you still have them?

If you still have them, take them straight back to the nest. The only hope is that the mother hasn't started incubating them yet. If she hasn't, they may be okay. If she has, and the chicks inside have already started developing, they will definitely be dead since the eggs have gone cold.

It's illegal to take eggs from a nest, and you can be fined for having them in your possession. Not only that, it's just plain wrong to take eggs for no reason.

Hopefully, you will have learned your lesson from this. Next time, leave eggs where you find them.

2. Call a pet store

3. Let a warm washcloth keep 'em warm

4. Place your hand over the eggs

5. Look it up online/ or in a book

Why couldn't the eggs remain in the wild with their mother?

Why on earth did you decide to take the nest home..they were most likely alive and well and their parents were incubating them..but now that you have stolen it away...the eggs are most likely dead.  Also, it is illegal for you to have these eggs in your possession..this is a violation of the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.  The best thing you can do is put the nest back where you found it in the hopes that the eggs might still be alive and the parents are still around looking for their nest.  In the future..do not interfere with nature.
