Robo hamsters in a new home?

Question

I just got two female robo hamsters yesterday and they are not using their wheel. At the pet store they were running on the wheel like crazy but they just keep hiding in their tube and will not do anything. How do I get my robo hamsters use to their new home and get them to find out there is also a wheel in their new home?

They are probably just nervous at the moment and getting used to their new home.

But to help them along the way you could always make a food trail that leads to the wheel. This is what i did with my hamster when it was too nervous to go down its tube.

Well,if they dont run its ok.even if they had a wheel there,they may not be used to the look/feel of the one they have now.It will take a little while before they will get used to it.Provide them with a ball for outside of the cage so they can exercise on that.Play with them handle them.etc.It will take a whilw for them to use the wheel. hope i helped! good luck. ^^

just play with them and hold them untill they get used to you and their cage it will just take some time. also when you hold them and this part is gross but let them p**p on you and see if it is mushy or green. it is either or both of those then they have wet tail and you need to go to the pet store right away and buy wet tail meds. hope the hamsters are ok. good luck!
