u could go rock climbing in the countryside but not in dublin...

there's hardly and mountains in dublin... well there's 1 but the countryside is much better.!

Yes you can. I used to climb in Dalkey Quarry, it's a very popular climbing spot in Dublin & very beautiflu.

Not sure where you would go to rent gear but if you check this website you should find out. http://www.mountaineering.ie
