Rock band for Wii Whammy bar

Question

i just got Rock band a couple weeks ago for Wii and my whammy bar on my guitar is freakin annoying it just works when it wants to. usually if u do it fast it wont do and thing but if u do slow it might ripple a little bit and at completely random times it works perfectly. what should i do about this? is there anyway to fix it (Without Sending It In)

i don't know if theres a way to fix it. i had one and it did the same thing. it had a mind of its own, so i just took it in they replaced it for me.
