they are ok, but when you buy a subwoofer you also buy their name, that is why they are so expensive.be unique and get some DC Sounds, or Fi, or SSA. dont jump the bandwagon and get rockford like every other loser out there.

I have never heard bad things about rockford but i will say they over price for what you get.  If your trying to get more bang for your buck then i would go with kicker or any other better priced company.

RF used to be really good....until the got affiliated with best buy, then they went to c**p.....the last good line they made was the old punch series amps....black and silver, trapazoid shap.....this was made in teh mid 90's....wow i'm getting old...lol

its said how being commmercialized ruins the quality of a good companies products....MB Quart was another. Alpine has seem to hold in there, but isn't as good as they used to be. the latest one to watch go down is, sad to say, kicker....and their going fast.

as far as price, performance, quality, and durability they are good but Kicker beats them in each one of the categories

very good but i think jl is better. rockfords amps are much better priced though
